Pediatric Dental Services
Early dental care means your son or daughter can have a head start on a healthy smile well into adulthood. Some of the children’s dental services that we provide include:
Cleanings and Exams
We recommend checkups every six months in order for Dr. Ally to identify potential problems before they evolve into complex situations later on. During these visits, we will screen for cavities, provide essential oral hygiene education, and use digital x-rays to evaluate eruption patterns and tooth health.
Professional-strength fluoride treatments help developing teeth to be resistant to decay. It also assists in enamel remineralization, where an early cavity may be starting to develop.
Protective Dental Sealants
Sealants protect the back teeth from developing cavities. They coat the deep grooves and pits that are often difficult to keep clean – and are an area that often develops tooth decay regardless of how well your child brushes.
Dental and orthodontic experts recommend all children have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. Dr. Ally will examine your child’s bite and eruption patterns to determine whether or not future intervention is necessary.
Pediatric Medicaid Patients Accepted
Dr. Ally accepts Medicaid patients under the age of 21. Whether you are a new patient or just looking for a Medicaid provider, we would love to invite your children to our office for the quality care that your family deserves.
